The opportunity
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a vital role in fueling DevOcho’s growth by developing and executing inbound marketing strategies to generate qualified leads for our custom software development services targeted at mid-market companies in the USA. In this dynamic role, you will create compelling content, optimize for SEO, manage LinkedIn campaigns, and analyze performance to build brand awareness and drive traffic to our website. You will learn "The DevOcho Way" (our modified Agile Scrum process) to effectively communicate our value proposition and collaborate with sales teams to build a robust marketing pipeline.
We are looking for a creative individual with strong digital marketing skills, a passion for content creation and data-driven strategies, and the ability to engage U.S. audiences in the tech and software space.
What you'll do
- Conduct initial audits of existing marketing assets (e.g., website, LinkedIn performance) and perform market research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and client needs to inform inbound efforts and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Develop and execute content marketing strategies, including creating blog posts, ebooks, webinars, and social media content focused on nearshore software development topics to attract U.S. mid-market clients.
- Optimize website content and structure for SEO, using tools like SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs to target keywords such as "nearshore custom software development" and improve organic search rankings.
- Manage LinkedIn organic and paid campaigns, including daily posts, sponsored content, and targeted ads to reach decision-makers (e.g., CTOs, COOs, VPs) in industries like fintech and healthcare.
- Analyze marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager to track metrics such as website traffic, lead generation, and ROI, iterating on strategies through A/B testing and reporting on progress for the "El Ocho" monthly reporting process.
- Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with target accounts, ensuring seamless lead handoffs and supporting account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives.
- Build and maintain a content calendar, repurposing materials across channels (e.g., LinkedIn, website, email newsletters) to nurture leads and highlight DevOcho’s Agile Scrum expertise.
- Manage a marketing budget for ads and tools, optimizing spend to maximize lead quality and conversions for projects valued at $50,000–$250,000.
- Travel to the USA for occasional marketing events or training (approximately one week per year).
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment, sharing insights and best practices to drive company growth.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
- 1+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, or B2B lead generation, preferably in software or IT services (bonus points for experience targeting U.S. clients).
- Proven ability to create engaging content and run successful campaigns, with experience meeting or exceeding targets for traffic growth, leads generated, or engagement metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English and advanced proficiency in Spanish (both verbal and written).
- Ability to understand technical concepts in software development and translate them into compelling marketing materials for non-technical audiences.
- Proficient in using marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics, SEMrush/Ahrefs, LinkedIn Campaign Manager) and Google Workspace (e.g., Gmail, Google Drive, Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Docs).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple campaigns while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a team environment, collaborating with sales and leadership to achieve shared goals.
- Able to travel to the USA for occasional events or training.
- Fluent or Advanced ability in English and Spanish (both verbal and written).

Work authorization
Employer work visa sponsorship and support are not provided for this role. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the Dominican Republic and must maintain authorization to work in the Dominican Republic throughout their employment with our company.
Salary Range
DevOcho seeks to hire top-tier individuals across the country and intends for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision.
Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.
