QA Automation Developer

The opportunity

We work for various companies across the United States. As a QA Automation Developer, you will get a chance to gain experience in different industries as you work on unique projects. Your primary focus will be to automate the testing of your team’s software applications, manually test new features, review bugs and capture detailed steps-to-recreate, and build detailed test plans.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a Scrum Team that is building software for our customers
• Build automated tests for web based software
• Build manual and automated test plans using Test Management Software
• Perform automated load testing
• Perform routine software security testing
• Manually test new features and provide feedback (bug tickets) to the development team as needed

Ideal profile

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in software engineering or software development
• 2+ years of software testing experience
• Well-rounded programming, testing, and debugging skills
• Experience with Python and Python based testing tools like Pytest and Playwright or similar
• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL or other SQL databases
• Experience with a load testing tool like Gatling or Locust or similar
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Must be flexible with a “can-do” attitude and have the ability to remain professional under high-pressure situations
• Must be organized and have the ability to multitask
• Excellent time management and planning skills
• Ability to retain and protect confidential material
• Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
• Bonus: Proficient in English and Spanish (both verbal and written)

Salary Range

DevOcho seeks to hire top-tier individuals across the country and intends for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision.

Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Monthly Salary: RD $50,000
